Europe is the third most populated continent in the world. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the west, the Arctic Ocean on the north, Ural mountains in the east, and the Mediterranean Sea to the South, a visit to the European continent are visually magnificent and historically significant.

Having to its credit, the tag of being the largest economy in the world, Europe is also home to one of the seven wonders of the world, The Colosseum in Italy.

While its history dates back to the advent of life on Earth, it influences first spread over the world with the reign of Alexander-The Great. Later of course a handful of the European countries as Britain, Portugal, France, and the Dutch went on to rule most other countries of the world at different periods. In more recent times, Europe has been the center of both World Wars, and it is this upheaval in the continent that makes it historically compelling.

Home to some of the most prominent and captivating monuments and structures that are also listed as UNESCO world heritage sites, every part of Europe stands tall as a trying testimony of its glorious and disconcerted past. Distinctly divided into three regions- Western Europe, Central Europe, and Eastern Europe- each one is more enchanting than the other for a tourist. What adds to the continent’s charm is its diversified geographical bifurcation with the Scottish highlands in the northern parts, Hungarian plains down south, mountains in Central Europe, and highlands in the southern area.

You can start your day in delightful Italy where you visit Rome to know why it wasn’t built in a day. The afternoon can be spent at the rather chivalrous London where you have the London Eye, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and its other lovely tourist spots waiting to greet you. Spend the evening by the River Seine in Paris and enjoy the starlit night right under the Eiffel Tower, celebrating love in the City of Love.
